LAS VEGAS — The latest edition of the UFC’s Fight Night event takes place Saturday with a middleweight division main event fight between Derek Brunson and Edmen Shahbazyan taking center stage.

UFC Fight Night: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan main card will feature a full slate of six fights that give UFC bettors a wide variety of matchups to bet on.

The Women’s division has provided the UFC with some of the biggest upsets in the sport’s history.

The fight between Joanne Calderon (-149) and Jennifer Maia (+129) will be one of the closest bouts on the main card and it is reflected in the odds. Calderon is the narrow favorite but that shouldn’t keep bettors from placing odds on the more experienced fighter in Jennifer Maia.

Ed Herman (+137) comes into this light heavyweight fight as the underdog against Gerald Meerschaert (-157). The last time Meerschaert stepped into the octagon he lost via a first-round KO and going up against a polished striker like Herman could lead to a similar outcome.

Herman has won his last two fights and bettors should take his +137 odds to beat Meerschaert.

It’s a bit of a dice roll but bettors should take the +170 odds on Randy Brown to pull off the upset over Luque.

Brown has shown that he’s a versatile fighter that can win with his hands or on the ground. He also has the height and reach advantage over Luque too which should aid him in leaving Saturday night with a win.
