LAS VEGAS – A massive slate of college basketball is set for Wednesday night with four top-25 matchups in store and each of them are set extremely close on the spread.

#15 Baylor Vs. #25 UConn

#10 Alabama Vs. #20 North Carolina

This pick is coming on the high point total set on college basketball sportsbooks which is the highest point total for both teams this season. While this is a high and intimidating number, bettors should not be afraid to slam the over here. Both defenses are underwhelming allowing nearly 80 ppg to opponents each.

They make up for it on offense as they average a combined 178.3 ppg. Both of them have been trending over this season as well. North Carolina is 6-1 going over this season while Alabama has gone over in four of their last five games.

#6 Marquette Vs. #5 Iowa State

This is too large of a spread for this magnitude of a game between two very evenly matched teams. Marquette, despite being the road team, might even have the slight advantage in this one being that they hold a strong 6-2 record against the spread this season and won outright in the only other game that they were an underdog. Iowa State has struggled with a 3-3 record and failed to cover in their only game favored by less than 10 points.

What this game is going to come down to is experience this season. Both of them have faced off against top-6 opponents once already this season and saw completely different outcomes. Iowa State fell to Auburn in a close one while Marquette demolished Purdue by nearly 20 points. We’re backing Marquette in this one to keep things close and even pull off a huge road win.

#2 Auburn Vs. #9 Duke

This is arguably Duke’s toughest opponent yet this season and Auburn is going to be out for blood in this one to keep their undefeated record alive. This one will come down to seniority and Auburn has all of it in their favor. They have five players averaging double digits this season and all of them are seniors.

Duke has just three double digit scorers with two of them being freshmen in Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel.

Auburn already has some impressive victories this season over #4 Houston, #5 Iowa State, and #12 North Carolina. Duke, on the other hand, has played three top-25 opponents and has gone 1-2 vs. them including losses to #19 Kentucky and #1 Kansas.
