  • Bovada offers NCAAW player props and game lines in South Carolina, Connecticut, and 33 other states.

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Sweet 16 round of the Women’s NCAA Tournament kicks off tomorrow, and UConn is the favorite to win it all, with South Carolina right behind.

Outside of these two teams, legal sports betting sites do not give any other schools much of a chance.

Betting On UConn To Win The Tournament

The Huskies have now won 12 straight games and are massive favorites to defeat Oklahoma (-1300) and move on to the Elite Eight. Paige Bueckers is leading the storm for UConn, scoring 34 points in the second round of the tournament against SDST.

UConn has only lost three games all season and one of those losses came from USC. Without JuJu in the lineup, not too many teams are a huge threat to the Huskies. The two other teams that defeated UConn this season, however, are still in the tournament (Notre Dame + Tennessee).

Betting On South Carolina To Win The Tournament

It is never easy to bet against the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball program, as Dawn Staley has won three titles since 2017 and two of the last three. South Carolina only has three regular season losses, but one of those games was against UConn.

The Gamecocks play Maryland in the Sweet 16 and are favored by 17.5 points. South Carolina is expected to be the favorite at Women’s college basketball betting sites throughout the rest of the tournament, unless they matchup in the title game against the Huskies.

Where To Bet On The Women’s College Basketball Tournament

Most betting sites offer odds on the NCAAW Tournament but a lot of sportsbooks have restrictions for certain states.

For example, DraftKings does not offer odds on in-state teams in Connecticut but other sports betting sites like Bovada do. Residents of the state can use Bovada or other offshore sportsbooks to bet on the Huskies to win the tournament or bet on any Paige Bueckers player props.

Bovada also accepts residents of South Carolina and offers many ways to bet on the Gamecocks in the 2024-25 NCAAW Tournament.
