JEFFERSON, Iowa – Wild Rose Casino has opened three DraftKings Sportsbook in Iowa on Friday.

At the Jefferson location, the sportsbook takes up a 6,000 square foot area. There are 28 HD televisions and a 200-inch HD projector with games patrons can wager on. Ticket windows and sports betting kiosks are available to accept your bets. The Emmetsburg and Clinton locations have similar amenities.
“Football season is in full swing, and it’s the perfect time to bring our retail sports betting experience to Iowa,” said Tim Dent, chief compliance officer at DraftKings. “Our retail locations allow fans to have an exceptional in-person experience with our product and we are proud to show off our industry-leading technological prowess in each of the three locations. Iowa sports fans are in for a great time.”
Like all legal sports betting in Iowa, these three DraftKings sportsbooks got approval from the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission. These new sportsbooks all fall under the same regulations. That means that no prop bets on Iowa college teams can be made.
Wild Rose not only partnered with DraftKings, but they also partnered with Rush Street Interactive as well. Through Rush Street Interactive and DraftKings, a mobile sports wagering app will be available.
Ever since Iowa launched sports betting in August, revenue has been high for the state. The three sportsbooks will likely contribute to the success of Iowa sports betting.
