CRIPPLE CREEK, Colo. – The Wildwood Casino in Cripple Creek, Colorado has officially partnered with ISI Race & Sports (ISI) to bring sports betting technology to their location. Wildwood is operated by The American Gaming Group (AGG) and is currently awaiting a betting license from the Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission (CLGCC) to allow for on-location sports betting at the casino.
Once approved, this will just be another example of the Colorado push for expanding sports betting at their casinos.
Wildwood Tackles Sports Betting
Cripple Creek is just another city looking to bring sports betting in Colorado to its casinos. Wildwood taking the initiative is no surprise. The AGG-run casino is excited to expand its selection of gambling options with the addition of sports betting.
“Wildwood has become the market leader for casinos in Cripple Creek and we wanted a partner who could help us achieve the same status for retail and online sports betting,” said Joseph Canfora, the CEO for AGG. “We are able to combine our extensive knowledge of the local Colorado market with ISI’s 20 years offering sports betting services and the Amelco betting platform and native mobile apps to create a winning experience for our customers.”
Colorado has been active in the last few days with expanding in the sports betting arena.
Just last week, CO granted both online and land-based sports betting licenses to PointsBet, bringing mobile sports betting options to all Colorado residents as well as land-based betting to the Double Eagle Hotel and Casino.
Whenever the license for Wildwood gets approved, residents of the Cripple Creek area will be able to partake in legal sports betting at the casino’s newly formed sports betting lounge that will be equipped with betting technology granted by ISI.
The industry in Colorado is expected to launch at the beginning of May.
