After a near career-ending hip surgery, Murray returns back to his home country’s Grand Slam tournament to play alongside the women’s Open Era Grand Slam record holder in Serena Williams.

Lead Up To MLB All-Star Week
New York Yankees @ Tampa Bay Rays
Moneyline: NYY (-116) vs TB (-101)
Date: Saturday, July 6
Time: 4:10 PM EST
Viewing Options: SUN, YES
The Yankees are the hottest team in baseball right now, winning 15 of their last 17, and are scoring runs at ease. Throughout June, the Yankees finished first in on-base percentage, second in runs, second in RBIs, fifth in HRs, and sixth in total bases. As for the Rays, their offense has been fairly average to say the least over the last month.
However, the Rays pitching staff during June accounted for the fourth most strikeouts, fifth-best ERA, and seventh lowest opponent batting average. The battle between these AL East leaders will come down to whose style of play wins. The Yankees already took the first game, as the remaining three will take place over the extended weekend.
Chicago Cubs @ Chicago White Sox
Date: Saturday, July 6
Time: 7:15 PM EST
Viewing Options: FOX
The Crosstown Classic will play game number three of the annual matchup series. The Cubs won the series the past two years and tied up this year’s series at one game apiece in their last game, which was at Wrigley Field. However, the battle will move south to Guaranteed Rate Field as both squads will look to claim bragging rights.
Lucas Giolito is projected to start on Saturday for the White Sox and has been absolutely incredible this year. With 115 strikeouts over 96 innings pitched and an ERA at 2.72, his first-round capabilities are starting to shine more than ever as this years MLB breakout player of the first half. Still, the Cubs love playing spoiler on the road, posting the four most road homers as well as the seventh highest road runs, road on-base percentage, and runs batted in on the road.
This will definitely be a great MLB weekend before the players take a short rest during the MLB All-Star Week, which begins on Monday, July 8 with the Home Run Derby.
