- WrestleMania 36 is set to be the biggest WrestleMania in WWE history.
- The event will be two days of matchups, rather than one, and each day comes with odds on the wrestlers.
- Sports bettors will have plenty of opportunities to place bets for this two-day affair.
ORLANDO, Fla. – WWE WrestleMania 36 is one thing that has not been canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
In fact, the major WWE event has decided to make the show even bigger, extending it to two days of wrestling instead of the normal one day. Legal sports betting sites have shown they are up for “the Show of the Shows.”
WWE WrestleMania 36
The wrestling matchups will take place on Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 beginning at 7 p.m. EST. Instead of being held in Tampa, Florida as originally planned, it will take place in Orlando, Florida at an unused WWE performance facility.
To maintain the CDC rules of social distancing that are associated with COVID-19, WrestleMania will be a closed event, allowing for no spectators.
WrestleMania 36 was made into a two-day affair because of the closed-door policy. The WWE wanted to give fans a bigger and better show if they were unable to witness it live in person. The list of wrestlers set to make appearances is a long one, with the most famous names in the wrestling world from both past and present.
Former NFL superstar Rob “The Gronk” Gronkowski will be the host, allowing at least one celebrity to be in attendance at what is usually a celebrity-filled show. The matches can be live-streamed on the WWE Network as well as purchased on Pay-Per-View.
Plenty of wrestling will take place over the weekend. Wrestler Brock Lesnar (+225) will go up against the favorite Drew McIntyre (-350). The Undertaker (-400) who is heavily favored will get into the ring with AJ Styles (+250). And most notably John Cena (+300) will take the mat as the underdog against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt (-500).
There are 12 other match-ups to make for a total of 15 events to watch and wager on for WrestleMania 36.
Originally, Universal Champion Goldberg was scheduled to go up against Roman Reigns and Reigns was favored to win.
However, Reigns has decided to pull out of the event due to his previous bout with Leukemia leaving him with a compromised immune system. He does not want to take a chance with the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Wrestle Filled Weekend
Both online and mobile sportsbooks have a wide variety of bets listed for the two-day weekend event. Wrestlemania is expected to be a profitable show for fans and sports betting sites that have been taking hits because of the lack of sports happening in the world at the moment.
WWE always puts on a good performance and it’s their intention to put on one of the very best for their fans as they try to make it the biggest Wrestlemania event in history.
