DARLINGTON, S.C. – The NASCAR Xfinity Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 will run at Darlington Raceway on Saturday.

This is the first time since 2004 that the NASCAR Xfinity Series has two races at Darlington Raceway in a single season.

This is the 12th season of the Sport Clips Haircut VFW 200 and NASCAR fans are excited for more action on the track. Sportsbooks have posted odds for what driver can take home the championship in this year’s edition of the race.

The legal sports betting odds have Denny Hamlin as the outright favorite of the race with many placing money on him coming out on top. In the 12 Darlington races he has raced in, he has finished as the winner six times and in 2nd place times.

Hamlin is the reigning champion and he won the race after starting dead last. With that being the lasting memory of the driver, there are obviously big but reasonable expectations coming into this race.

Chase Briscoe has the second closest odds to win the weekend’s race and he was the winner of the last NASCAR Xfinity Series at Darlington Raceway in May.

Briscoe also has a legendary pit crew which adds to the reason his odds may be closer than some may expect.

Both Briscoe and Hamlin are the only two drivers in this race that have previous wins at the circuit giving them another edge on the rest.

There are only four races left in the regular season so many drivers are feeling the pressure as the playoffs creep closer and closer. With this fact, it could play a role in the eventual outcome of the race. Those betting on NASCAR only have a few more of these types of matches to cash in.
