STAMFORD, Conn. – The eXtreme Football League (XFL) has found a sports betting partner in FOX Bet.
On February 7, the league and company made an announcement about their deal that will allow FOX Bet to be an official mobile sports betting operator for the organization.
The Art Of The Deal
FOX Bet is a big name in the sports wagering market, excluding the state of Washington. This new partnership will bring more business to both the XFL and the sports betting platform. FOX Bet has already decided to engage customers with the creation of fun wagers centered around the XFL.
There will be a “Super 6” match chosen each of the 10 weeks of regulation play. Then there will be one for both the semi-finals and Championship. The beginning of the season starts on February 8 and goes all the way through to the Championship game on April 26.
These matchups will allow bettors to play for free and have the opportunity at guaranteed cash rewards. Any gambler that takes part will be added to the FOX Sports Super 6 database that expects to see numbers surpassing a million weekly.
This deal entitles FOX Bet to use the XFL branding and logos for the teams as well as the image of anyone affiliated with the league. They will also have official league data.
“FOX Bet is a leader in mobile sports wagering, and we’re proud to partner with such an important player in the sports betting community,” said Jeffrey Pollack, President and COO of the XFL.
“We want what our fans want and legal sports betting is an important part of the fan experience that will allow them to connect more strongly with the XFL.”
Fox Bet is equally as excited about this new venture. This will help build the brand of both the XFL and the mobile sports betting application simultaneously. The partnership will be beneficial and profitable for both sides.
“We are thrilled to be an authorized gaming operator of the XFL and part of all the excitement surrounding the league’s kickoff this February,” said Robin Chhabra, CEO of FOX Bet. “Just as they are reimagining the game of football in America, we at FOX Bet are reimagining the sports experience for fans across the country.”
XFL betting kicks off on Sunday, February 9 at 2:00 p.m. EST, the Tampa Bay Vipers will face the New York Guardians as the 3-point favorite entering the game. Later on, the St. Louis BattleHawks will play the Dallas Renegades at 5:00 p.m. EST.
The Renegades are the heavy favorite by 9 points. These matchups will be aired by the FOX network and the betting lines and odds will be available on-screen throughout the duration of the matches for viewers. Just one more thing to look forward to through this partnership.
