- ZenSports has partnered with Strategic Gaming Management to expand its sportsbook into the Nevada betting market.
- This is ZenSports’ first push to expand in the United States.
- Through the deal, ZenSports plans to purchase Big Wheel Casino and operate its sportsbook out of the venue.
LOVELOCK, Nev. – ZenSports and Strategic Gaming Management (SGM) have come together to bring the popular sportsbook to the United States.
Through the partnership, ZenSports has acquired the option to purchase Big Wheel Casino as well as an option to launch its sportsbook in the Baldini’s Sports Casino.
Once these options are exercised, ZenSports will be able to provide sports betting to all residents of Nevada, making it the first time US sports bettors could access the sportsbook.
ZenSports Meets US Betting Market
With the Nevada sports betting market being the biggest in the country, it makes sense for ZenSports to begin their foray in the US betting market in the Silver State.

The partnership is expected to expedite the process of bringing ZenSports to the US. The reason it took this long for the sportsbook to operate in the states is due to the US’s land-based affiliate requirement.
“As ZenSports Co-Founder & CEO, one of our biggest hurdles in getting licensed to operate an internet/mobile sports betting platform in the U.S. is the requirement to own or partner with a land-based sportsbook and casino,” stated Mark Thomas in an official blog post. “Through our great relationship with Strategic Gaming Management, we were able to secure the option to purchase this business in Nevada, which is the first critical step in getting ZenSports licensed and operating in the state.”
Both ZenSports and Strategic Gaming Management are excited about the partnership and the future of both companies in the Nevada sports betting market.
“ZenSports is proving to be a force in the mobile and peer-to-peer sports betting world,” said Grant Lincoln, CEO of SGM. “We’re excited to help give them an opportunity to expand into the Nevada market and make ZenSports a household name here.”
The next step for ZenSports to launch its mobile sportsbook in Nevada is to gain approval from the gaming board. ZenSports needs licensing and technology certifications in order to operate in the state.
This should not be a long process as the company has already sent in the proper applications.
If all goes according to plan, ZenSports will be providing legal sports betting to US sports bettors for the very first time in the coming months.
