SAN FRANCISCO — Peer-to-peer sports betting provider ZenSports has announced that they will be launching a white label legal sports betting suite to sports businesses globally.
This move comes in the wake of the company launching esports betting on the games League of Legends and Counter-Strike: GO earlier this month. ZenSports has continued to expand its services and sports betting offerings as more and more people turn to the platform for P2P bets.
The ZenSports platform is a betting marketplace where users can bet with or against other users from across the world. Bettors are also allowed to create their own bets with custom odds and terms.
CEO of ZenSports Mark Thomas in a blog post wrote: “Until now, we’ve built our entire ZenSports peer-to-peer sports betting business by selling directly to consumers. With the launch of our new ZenSports for Businesses product suite, we are now expanding into a new enterprise offering that will give sports industry organizations the ability to harness the power of ZenSports’ peer-to-peer sports betting and cryptocurrency technologies.”
ZenSports recently launched its own cryptocurrency called SPORTS. Used exclusively on the ZenSports platform, the company has seen success using their own currency as according to the blog post, “almost 100% of all bets within the app have been made using SPORTS tokens, even though they also offer the ability to bet in US Dollars or Bitcoin.”
Seeing the success of SPORTS on their platform ZenSports wants to continue to expand their reach and place in the sports industry.
“It is now ZenSports’ goal to also give other sports ecosystem partners access to our peer-to-peer sports betting platform, as well as our SPORTS cryptocurrency token. There are numerous enterprises within the sports industry that are looking for a white label solution for betting on sports. While other traditional bookmaking software solutions exist, none offer the same peer-to-peer, decentralized marketplace for sports betting like ZenSports does.”
Potential partnerships in the sports industry are now wide open for the company and ZenSports wants to use SPORTS as a common currency among sports fans and businesses alike.
“We’re especially bullish on the integration of SPORTS tokens into the payments and rewards programs of other sports ecosystem partners. We’ve seen first-hand how exciting a cryptocurrency-based rewards platform is for consumers, and how it creates deep loyalty and engagement,” said Thomas. “Our customer churn at ZenSports is non-existent because of the loyalty and rewards that we’ve built around our SPORTS token. Now think about integrating SPORTS tokens into other access points within the sports ecosystem, such as online merchandise, media/content, event ticketing, in-game food and beverage, and professional sports teams/leagues, thereby creating an entire payment and rewards system from beginning to end for sports enthusiasts.”
Only a few months ago, Zensports gathered $770,000 from investors. Now that the product suite has launched, it will only be a matter of time before some of the biggest names in the sports industry are partnering with ZenSports.
